Word Plug-in
The word plug in for eSalesTrack allow the creation of document merge templates from inside of Microsoft Word. You can pull in your fields from your eSalesTrack account and then move the document straight from word over to your eSalesTrack account.
To use the eSalesTrack Word plug-in you must first download it. Once you have downloaded the plugin you will see an eSalesTrack section when you open Microsoft Word.
1. Open Microsoft Word then click on the eSalesTrack section.
Click on the "Settings" button, then enter your eSalesTrack username and password.
2. Click on the "Merge Fields" button then select the module you would like to create the document in.
3. Click and drag the fields from the left menu onto your document.
4. When you have all of the fields that you would like to have populate in your document then save the document to your hard drive.
5. After you have saved the document to your hard drive click on the "Send to eSalesTrack" button.
6. Give the template a name then click "Send to eSalesTrack". You will now see the template when you sign into your eSalesTrack account.
7. You can also overwrite an existing template that you have in your account by selecting the template from the "Overwrite Existing" drop down and then clicking "Overwrite Existing".
8. To create the template open the record that you would like to create the document from.
9. From the content section click "create from template".
10. Select the template you would like to populate, then give the document a name.
11. You will now see the document in the content section.
12. You can click on the document to open it.
